Coorg does have numerous places to visit, since, we are in Madikeri, you could visit the following:

1. Dubare Elephant camp near Kushalnagar (30kms) needs about 4 hrs in the afternoon/ morning (Rafting if there is good flow of water in the river)

2. Abbi Falls near Madekeri (17 km)- 1.5 hrs ,between 8 am - 5 pm

3. Tala Kaveri (43 Kms) - birthplace of river Cauvery - 3-5 hrs depending on whether you want to do any religious rituals, like a dip in the tank at the birthplace, temple etc.,

4. Mandalpatti (20km) - forest reserve for a little adventure, can be clubbed with Abbi falls

5. Raja seat in Madikeri - sight seeing would take max. 1 hr ( or drive upto Valley view hotel close by for a drink and enjoy the scenery)

6. Harangi Dam ( 33 Kms) - near Kushalnagar 

7. Irupu Falls ( 80 Kms) - Less than 2 hours drive towards the south of Coorg. Located in the Brahmagiri range its a fresh water cascade that flows past the Irupu Shiva Temple

8. Nagarhole Game Sanctuary ( 86 Kms) - 2 hours 15 mins drive from Madikeri, its the 37th tiger reserve in India, famous for its dense green foliage and  wild animal spotting

9. White water rafting upon the 'Bharpole' (KKR) river - Less than two hours to the base camp is near T. Shettigeri, is the most sought after rafting company situated in the mountainous region of south Coorg
